The piece starts quietly in the rhythm section in a medium/slow latin groove. The rest of the band slowly joins in as the piece develops. The main soloists are alto saxophone and trumpet. There is a lovely, quiet section in the alto solo. Then the music slowly builds to an amazing climax, followed by a beautiful, soft ending. Brass ranges are reasonable.
